Product Introduction

A direct-fired hot-air furnace is a device that generates hot air by directly combusting fuel, characterized by high efficiency and energy savings, and is widely used in various industries. Our company’s design and manufacture of direct-fired furnaces have been granted national patents. The following provides detailed information:

Working Principle

  • Fuel combustion: The fuel is combusted in a combustion device, generating high-temperature flue gases.
  • Mixing and Heating: High-temperature combustion gases are mixed with ambient air to produce hot air at the desired temperature.
  • Material contact: Hot air directly contacts the material to be dried, heating it and evaporating its moisture to achieve drying or baking.

Applicable Fuel

  • Solid fuels: such as coal and coke.
  • Liquid fuels: such as diesel, heavy oil, and alcohol-based fuels.
  • Gaseous fuels: such as town gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas.

Product Features

  • High efficiency and energy savings: high thermal efficiency results in fuel consumption that is approximately 50% lower than that of steam-fired or indirect-heating systems.
  • Direct heating: Hot air comes into direct contact with the material, resulting in rapid heating.
  • Compact design: no complex heat exchangers required.
  • Temperature control: Precise temperature regulation can be achieved by adjusting the fuel supply and the air-fuel mixture ratio.

Application Fields

  • Industrial drying: e.g., grains, food products, chemicals, construction materials, etc.
  • Industrial heating: such as metal heat treatment and paint baking.
  • Agricultural drying: e.g., seeds, feed, fertilizers, etc.
  • Other fields: such as flue gas/wastewater treatment, SCR denitrification temperature rise heating, and others.

Precautions

  • Fuel Selection: Choose the appropriate fuel based on actual needs and costs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of combustion equipment and ventilation systems to ensure safe operation.
  • Environmental protection requirements: Select equipment that meets environmental standards to reduce pollutant emissions.
  • Applicable materials: Ensure that the materials can be directly exposed to hot air to prevent contamination or damage.

Special Note

Our equipment features a multi-layer, sleeve-type all-metal construction that contains no refractory materials and adopts a single-cantilever design, thereby eliminating cracking and spalling caused by thermal expansion and contraction due to differing coefficients of thermal expansion among materials—issues commonly encountered in conventional equipment. The high-temperature zone is constructed from high-temperature-resistant stainless steel (e.g., 310S), ensuring a long service life. Thermal efficiency is no less than 95%.
