The pulse-jet baghouse is a highly efficient baghouse dust-collection system widely used in industrial applications.

Working Principle

Dust-laden gas enters the airlock discharge device through the inlet, where a portion of the coarser dust particles, due to inertial forces, falls directly, thereby achieving preliminary dust collection.

The airflow entering the hopper turns and rises into the housing, further separating the heavier dust particles.

As the gas stream passes through the filter bags, dust particles are captured on the outer surface of the bags, while the clean gas permeates the bags, enters the upper housing, and is finally collected in the outlet duct for discharge.

As the amount of dust on the outer surface of the filter bags increases, the system sends a signal to initiate pulse-jet cleaning when the equipment resistance reaches the set differential pressure.

Compressed air is ejected from the pulse valve, passes through the nozzles of the blow pipe, and is directed toward the filter bag chamber. The filter bags expand and vibrate instantaneously, causing the dust on their surfaces to detach and fall into the airlock discharge unit (the collected material can be recovered via a screw conveyor in conjunction with the upstream receiving equipment).
